CBI hails Jaguar Land Rover’s £335 million investment
The CBI has welcomed Jaguar Land Rover’s investment in a new advanced engine facility in Staffordshire.  Richard Butler, CBI regional director for the West Midlands, said: “This is fantastic news for the region and for UK manufacturing, and will create opportunities up and down supply chains.

This investment underlines Tata’s commitment to grow the JLR brand and the attractiveness of the region as a place for world-class manufacturers to set up shop.  Combined with BMW’s engine plant at Hams Hall near Birmingham, JLR’s latest investment will create a cluster of precision automotive engineering excellence in the heart of the Midlands.”
