Height gauge calibration

Following recent changes to British Standard Specifications for calibration companies,  Torus Measurement Systems says it is now the only company UK-wide to have been accredited by UKAS to perform calibration on complex height gauges.
Having been UKAS accredited since Jan 2010 for CMM Verification and March 2011 for non-cartesian CMMs (articulated arms) verification, Torus has reacted to demand from customers and successfully gained accreditation to calibrate complex height gauges to the new Geometrical Product Specifications (GPS) standard BS EN ISO 13225.

Torus says that with ever increasing demands made on companies to sustain the highest accuracies, it is imperative to regularly calibrate complex height gauges and confirm they are in good working order.

This includes verifying, cleaning and servicing the gauges with the added beneficial advantage of receiving accurate information on the height gauge’s capabilities and uncertainties.

Torus Measurement Systems is the recommended approved service supplier for calibration of Tesa height gauges. This service can be carried out in the Torus UKAS temperature controlled laboratory or onsite. All height gauge calibrations are carried out in accordance to BS EN ISO 13225 standard and a UKAS certificate is supplied with every verification.
