QMT News: March 2014
Entries called for UKIVA Vision Award
The UKIVA is inviting submissions for the ‘Most Innovative Machine Vision Project’ award 2014.  Now in its third year, and part of the PPMA (Processing & Packaging Manufacturing Association) Group Industry Awards, this award recognizes the most innovative vision system installed between January 2013 and June 2014.

Entry is free and is open to all vision equipment suppliers, system integrators or end users that have installed an innovative vision system, with recognition for all parties involved in the project.

The award is sponsored by UKIVA member Stemmer Imaging and will be shortlisted and judged by a fully independent panel of industry specialists.
Judges will look for an application that increases productivity and will also consider aspects such as design, safety and creativity.  Entries are free and should consist of a description in less than 800 words why the application should win this award and should be supported by photographs and testimonials from users where possible.
Submissions should be made by 25 April 2014 to grant.collier@ppma.co.uk .
