QMT News: September 2014
Strictly personal

The older I get and the more time I spend in business, the more I understand that it is all about people and relationships. Some relationships you can build at a distance and through media such as email, the internet and – of course – the printed page.

To really ‘seal the deal’ though, there is nothing like meeting people face-to-face. Ideas spark other ideas, unexpected connections are made and the next time you talk on the phone, exchange emails or see someone’s name in a magazine you can put it the context of an established relationship.

That’s one of the reasons why QMT values live events so much, and why we are media partners with the industry’s most significant conferences and exhibitions.
In this issue you can read a review of the Coordinate Measurement Society Conference in Charleston, and find out what you can look forward to at the Large Volume Metrology Conference, the GTMA’s Make Measurement Matter roadshow and the TCT exhibition – all of which we are media partners of.

But don’t just read about them, come along, I’m dying to meet you.
