The bedtime book for Antartic penguins

A penguin takes a look at the  latest version of Firstsight Vision’s Vision Elements Machine Vision Handbook, propped up against some rocks in the Antarctic. The handbook was taken there by John Haddon who was part sponsored by  Firstsight Vision to undertake the expedition.
The purpose of the trip was to continue work to create an education  base in the Antarctic. This is  intended to raise awareness with youngsters of today of the effects of global warming and commercialisation on the Antarctic so that  informed decisions can be made in 2041 when the current treaty that  protects the region from drilling and mining expires.
