New course content and a new look for Mitutoyo Institute of Metrology
Mitutoyo (UK) Ltd has announced plans for a complete re-brand of their training service - the Mitutoyo Institute of Metrology.

The new look, to be unveiled at the end of the summer, will incorporate a new identity designed to represent the Institutes standing as a modern training service at the forefront of Measurement Technology.

The re-brand will include a major overhaul of the content of each course offered by Mitutoyo, of which there are currently over forty ranging from Basic Metrology, The Fundamentals of Precision Measurement, Functional Calibration and Introduction to SPC, through to Gauge Repeatability & Reproducibility, Surface Measurement, CMM Operation and Advanced Programming.

Additionally, there will be a new Prospectus available, highlighting the courses on offer to specific areas of industry such as Measurement for the Plastics Industry, Gear Measurement and Measuring for the Automotive Industry, Aerofoil (Blade) Measurement and Pipe, Tube & Wire Measurement.
A new educational website will also be launched to specifically for the Institute of Metrology. This will provide detailed information about the facilities and courses on offer, and will feature a comprehensive library of product application guides as will as handy 5-minute hints and tips. This will enhance the materials that we already supply to schools, colleges and universities.
