Manual CMM for quick and easy part inspection

X-Cite is the new manual 3D coordinate measuring machine from WENZEL for quick and easy verification of simple parts. The small footprint system enables small and medium-sized companies an economical entry into the world of 3d metrology.

The X-Cite Manual CMM is suitable for the quality control and inspection of components and provides an inexpensive alternative to gauges or multipoint measurement systems. The all-round syWenzelXCite_freistem offers easy operation and an attractive entry price. With the use of high-quality dark granite in all axes, the X-Cite Manual CMM is extremely robust and durable.

As standard, the X-Cite is delivered with the manual probe system MCP from Renishaw. Optionally, the X-Cite Manual CMM can be equipped with the manually adjustable probe head MH20 and the extremely robust touch trigger probe TP20. Another variant is the probe head MH20i. Probe modules which are already calibrated can be replaced without recalibration keeping a high repeatability.

The Measuring Software Metrosoft QUARTIS generates and creates meaningful measuring results and reports automatically for a range of measuring tasks. Full CAD import capability is available.

The X-Cite is available in four models with measuring ranges from 500 x 600 x 500 mm up to 700 x 1200 x 500 mm. Fine tuning for each axis and individual axis locks allow accurate positioning and precise detection. The accuracy of the CMM is specified by the volumetric length measuring uncertainty MPEE from 3.5 + L/250 μ.
