Ubisense joins the High Speed Sustainable Manufacturing Institute (HSSMI)
Ubisense Group have joined the HSSMI as a full core member for a two year period.  As a core member Ubisense will engage across the full scope of HSSMI’s innovative research, providing Smart Factory expertise to other members such as Ford, Loughborough University and Autodesk.

Ubisense provides location-based smart technology which enables companies to optimise their manufacturing processes. Ubisense solutions bring clarity to complex business operations whilst also improving quality and reliability on the production line.

As part of the membership package Ubisense has set up a research system at HSSMI’s facilities in Rainham, Essex.  This will enable Ubisense to conduct further research into new Smart Factory applications that can be implemented and tested before introduction into mission critical assembly lines.

Simon Barnes, business development manager at HSSMI said: “We are very pleased to have Ubisense as members as we see advanced real-time location technology playing a vital role in enhancing the manufacturing assembly and supply chains.”
John Parker, VP marketing at Ubisense said: “The manufacturing research facilities at HSSMI are world class and provide us with an excellent environment where we can develop and test new engineering processes that will bring valuable and lasting benefits to many manufacturers”.
